Astronomers Closer to Exoplanet Holy Grail: "Astronomers detect an exoplanet just twice the mass of Earth using a ground-based telescope in Chile. Planets close in size to Earth are more likely to be habitable. The team found that another planet orbiting the same star is the right distance from the star to have liquid water, a prerequisite for life as we know it.
